This woman came really early to a sports game and is sitting in her favorite spot. The elements of art that I see are line and value. The element of line helps create the principle of pattern because the lines of the seats repeat horizontally and vertically the line of the numbers repeat. These elements help tell the story because they highlight the vacancy of the area and emphasize the importance of the spot the woman sat in.

ReplyDeleteThis women looks like she got to a sporting event or concert early to get a seat she really wanted. There is contrast between the letter and the seat, there is also lines with the seats.The lines in between the seats bring out the women because it is a break from all of the lines. The lines help show how alone the women is, how she is waiting for something to happen, but for now she is just seating alone.

I think the person is at some sort of sports event and he is sitting in the bleachers. I see lots of lines and value in this photograph. The lines help create an emphasis to the man who is the main focus of the photo. They help explain who the main subject of the picture is.

DeleteThis photograph tells the story of a woman enjoying time to herself in solitude. I see the elements of value and lines present in the picture. The use of these two elements apply greatly to the principles of contrast and repetition. The contrast being between the lighter and darker part of the bleachers, and the repetition being the repeating lines and numbers. The contrast and value help tell the story by contributing to the somber mood.

It looks like this woman got to a sporting event early and is waiting for other people to show up. To me it shows value and form. The black and white add value to this photo as well as the lines giving it an empty feeling.
ReplyDeleteI think the woman might be reminiscing when she used to play a sport and so she sat in her preferred spot to see the field from an audience point of view. Elements of art that are in this photo would be space and value. The value in this photo uses black and white to show that is a memory of the past or represents something about the past. The elements help tell the story because little details give meaning like the fact that she is by herself shows that she has passion for a sport.

They both help make the man in the middle of the image stand out more then the rest of the photo. They help make him look more lonely.

I see line, shape, and value being used in this photograph. The use of lines helps create movement throughout the picture. By using all of these elements and principles you are able to tell that she is at some sort of playing field and she's in the stands watching something.

I think this element reveals the photographer's location suggesting he's in a room filled with multiple rows, so the audience suggests he's either in a theater, sports field, etc.

The main elements in this photo are value and pattern in the form of lines. The black and white color value and the pattern of the numbered lines add a bit of mystery to the photo that emphasizes the lonely moment while encompassing her silence with a potential of surrounding energy.

The bleachers are completely empty, symbolizing tranquility and simplicity. An element that I see is lines. Each row of bleachers leads you in to the next and creates a pattern. The emptiness continues throughout the entire set of bleachers and really helps the story.

ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a woman, due to her sandals and purse, likely a mother or grandmother. Maybe she is at the bleachers early to get good seats for her son/grandsons game or perhaps she is there to watch his practice. Perrine uses the lines of the bleachers and the overall space the create within the photograph to form a sense of rhythm. The woman's pressence breaks the seemingly endless pattern of bleacher, she is an abnormality within the photo comparative to her less than normal pressence so early before the game or at practice.

DeleteThe name of the game in this picture is ambiguity: the subject who may or may not be a woman, looks at something out of focus with a look that may or may not be disapproval. Lines and patterns dominate this image. The unbroken pattern of stylus spray painted numbers creates a backdrop for the subject provoking enough to create intrigue, but ambiguous enough as to not draw attention from the subject.

DeleteThis aesthetic photo of this individual is contemplating about the numbers never ending into a repetition of patterns and possibly other things (but if I was in their situation I'd be staring at all those numbers) with a 7-11 drink near their purse. (I predict this assumption because of the number "7" on the cup).

The lines relate to the principal design of repetition. All of these help tell the story by emphasizing that she is alone and the amount of empty space there is.

ReplyDeleteIn this picture I see a woman who went to the wrong sports game. The stadium is empty because there is no game that day. In the photo, Value leads up to rule of thirds because the dark and depressing woman isn't in the middle of the frame. If the elements were different, then the mood of the picture would be different. Lines and value are elements demonstrated in this photograph. It helps create the story because it shows how many rows of seats are suggesting it's the bleachers and the one seat the women is sitting on and it's has a B&W filter which could represents something sad like her son/daughter got injured.
The subjects team had just lost and he is heartbroken and he is still sitting there wishing the game wasn't over. I see rule of thirds and lines in this photo as well as contrast. The rule of thirds allows us to see just how vast and alone the subject actually is. The contrast and lines also help us see just how alone the person is.

The elements of art are value and line as the photo is black and white and we are lead from the woman down the descending bleachers and numbers. Value brings out repetition as the numbers repeat and there is a consistent color without, and emphasis is brought out too as the woman disrupts the pattern. The elements and principles help tell the story because we see all the repeating numbers with no one sitting on them drawing attention to the fact that the woman is there very early. There is dedication in how early she is there to be supportive for her son/ grandson.

I think it is a women at a sporting event. Waiting patiently for the event to begin or stayed late at the event. This photograph has the use of lines that guide the eye it also creates repetition.
