  1. I think there is a bunch of children waiting for instruction from an adult that is in front of all of them. I see color and balance in this photo. Balance helps create a sense of unity among all of the children. The elements of art and principles of design help tell the story of attentiveness. I think that Photoshop brought all of these separate photos of children into one photograph.

  2. There is probably a school assembly at an elementary school. The element of positive space help create movement as the area seems very crowded. These elements and principles help tell the story of students who are finally calmed down in a crowded space. Photoshop played a role of adding serious faces to tiny bodies making the photo seem very serious.

  3. This picture looks like the children were photoshopped to look closer. I see repetition and pattern. The repetition of the children create a pattern. This helps create a story of why all the kids are looking one direction. I believe that Photoshop was used to make the kids closer.

  4. It appears that the kids are photo shopped into the picture to show diversity among children. I see pattern because all the kids faces have similar expressions. The pattern in this picture helps establish the mood of the photo, and how it is perceived by the viewers. I think this whole photo was photo shopped, each kid was probably apart of a different photo and then transferred into one.

  5. I think that this picture has to do something with school and race. I see form and color in this photograph. These elements of design help create repetition. It helps tell the story because there's less colored kids.

  6. I think this photo is showing the diversity of kids around the world. It has variety, as well as movement. Variety helps the audience look around the photo and see the different types of faces. It tells a story because you look around at each child and see something different each time. I think photoshop helped layer the kids closely together.

  7. 1. I believe that this scene is possibly an assembly or a school photo which includes all the students.
2.In this photo I can see the Elements; Form, Space, and Color. I see the Principles; Balance, Variety, and Repetition.
3.I feel that the Variety is the main focus in this photo, showing that each child is unique.
4.This helps tell the story by showing these children come from different areas of the world, which makes it more likely that it is a school.
5.I believe Photoshop was used to edit in each child, and it helped create the layers of the image.

  8. I think this picture represents diversity and culture throughout a population. Mostly, I see line and color in this photograph. The lines contribute to the repetition and the colors help with balance and pattern. Both elements of art and principles of designs complement each other and create an intentional photograph that helps tell a story. Photoshop, on the other hand helped strengthen the contrast in this photo.

  9. - In this photo i think the artist was trying to show different ethnic groups.
    - In this photograph i see Color, Balance, and line.
    - In this photograph line helps drag your eye from side to side to see all of the children.
    - These elements cause your eye to become attracted to different children in the photograph.
    - In this photo i think the artist used Photoshop to put children heads on body's.

  10. From my perspective, the children look really dressed up so they might be getting ready for a picture day or something. An element of art that I see in the photograph is the lines being made by the kids. It creates a sense of repetition and also a sense of unity of ethnicity. The diversity shows the sense of all races coming together for one event that can be occurring. It looks like Photoshop played a role in this picture by putting a different kid that may be from a different picture.

  11. 1. I think this picture represents the different cultures all around the world coming together as one.
    2. The element I see most is positive space and color (brightness).
    3. The intensity of all the colors present in this picture evoke the principle variety through the wide range of colors present.
    4. They add different aspects to the photo, each contributing a different piece of information to the story.
    5. I think the photographer took a selection of people from different pictures and edited them all in one photograph.

  12. I think this picture is trying to represent a diverse group of children unifying. Elements of art I see in this photograph are shape because the children have a 2D quality about them, and color because each individual has their own style. The element of shape helps create the principle of balance because the 2 dimensionality of the kids is repeated through out the picture creating this even distribution. These elements and principles create a balance that reinforces the unity of the diversity. I think photoshop created the whole image by cropping out each child and pasting them into this one compilation.

  15. I think this is a photo of a bunch of kids that are maybe at school for something like an assemble. This photo utilizes lines and positive space. There is no empty space anywhere in the picture. the lack of negative spaces attributes to creating a sense of repetition and unity. Th photographers use of elements and principles help develop a story that portrays a harmonious school culture. I think Photoshop helped define the childrens' faces and make each and every face distinct as to show that each child matters.

  16. I believe that in this photo that the story is to show a difference in children and people. The elements i see in the photo are ones such as Balance pattern and repetition.I believe balance really helps the photo because of the outfits and the skin colors of the kids are not overused and they are all spaced out evenly making the image stand out more. I think Photoshop helped cut and paste all these different pictures of kids and or individual pics into one

  17. I think that this photo is at a school and all the kids are at some kind of assembly. I see the elements of color and value in this photograph. The element of value helps create the principle of variety in the photo because it allows for the picture to have different colors and different shades of the colors. I think the photographer photographed the kids and different times alone and used photoshop to edit them all into one picture so it looks like they were all together when the photo was taken.

  18. I think in this photograph the photographer is trying to show a diverse of children, especially African American kids and that they have the right to education as well as the others. Some elements I see are variety and color through out the photo. I think Photoshop in this photo was more played on the African American kids, to make them stand out more in the picture, and so that you're eyes lead straight to them specifically.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think the kids are standing in front of a teacher or principle at an assembly. I see line in the rows of children, which helps create the principle of movement to me because each row has a variety of height within the children.
I think the photographer photoshopped some kids in or into another area in the picture.

  20. I think this picture is someone trying to show that children can live with one another, without race being a factor to if they become friends or not. In this photograph I see the elements of space of the kids taking up the frame and value of the different toned kids from the dark skinned to the light skinned. I think that this element of value attributes to the principle of pattern by using the repetition of the kids throughout the picture between whites and blacks. I think that the pattern of the different value of kids spaced out show how kids can live together without any bearing on race. The pattern of the black kids even spaced out show that they can live with the white people and do not have to be discriminated. I think that photoshop helped fill the screen with all the kids and putting them close enough to one another to push a togetherness feeling.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I think the photographer put all these kids together and had them all dressed up as adults maybe. Some elements I see are texture and color. Color helps create balance in the photo. They help to tell the story because it gives you so many different things to look at, instead of being monotonous. I think Photoshop played a big role in this photo because there is evidence that it is used.

  22. 1.I think that these students might be at a school assembly that is why they're in a group.

    2. The element of art I see used in this picture is color.

3.Color helps create a principle of design by giving a color pattern.

    4. Color helps create a story because if this picture was black and white then the viewer would think that these are in mates or something like that.

5.Photoshop played a role by making these kids look realistic.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I believe that in this photograph I believe it is mixing children from Africa and children from America and trying to show that each has the right to an education. An element of art I see in this picture is color. The color in this photo helped to create variety among the photo. The elements of art and principles of design help to tell the story by creating movement which helps lead your eye through making you notice and pay attention to everything going on. I believe a lot of layers were created in photo shop and they kept adding children into the blank areas.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 1. I think its a group of kids that was photoshoped together.
2.I think the elements of art is Form and Color.
3.I think form helps with balance because the form of the kids are balancing each other out,
    4. I don't think the elements and principles help tell the story really.
    5. Photoshop is playing a really big role in this picture because the photo is photoshopped.

  25. The picture shows young children of all different races and genders coming together in one gathering. The creator includes a great use of color to create a variety in the photograph among the children. The variety that is portrayed in this photograph conveys the message that every individual is different in their own way whether that is pertaining to gender, race, or style. I think that Photoshop was used to paste the faces of different children onto the bodies.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The author is displaying the kids' ethnic diversity by photo shopping them into one image. Elements of art in this photo include value and line. Value comes from the different shades and colors of the kids' skin tones.Line may be observed by the alignment of their heads, which lead our eyes too look towards the back of the image, the principle of design movement. The elements and principles tell us that diversity is all around us. Everywhere you look, someone will look different from you. Photoshop was used to place the bodies of the kids next to each other in specific skin color/hair color positions as to create a theme of unison among all.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Maybe there is a school assembly going on. All of the kids are really attentive and focused as though they are waiting for something to be said or done. I see the element of color everywhere. The different colors form the variety of the piece. I think the author was trying to make an image with extreme diversity of children and the the variety of colors in skin, hair color, and clothes helps form to this. Photoshop allowed for the image to be created without going to the hassle of organizing all of the children together, getting the outfits, and keeping them still.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think that this image represents the era of mix racial generation.I see balance and rhythm. Those principles of design help the image in a way that the children seem to be organize in rows and the children have different color skin within every row.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think the creator is trying to manipulate a lot of different elements of art. He uses a lot of value, texture, and color combined in order to take up all the space in the picture. It seems as if the creator is trying to create the beauty of the human race with all children of different races and colors coming together in unity; the future. Coupled with the elements, he uses a variance of principles as with this row-like pattern he creates a sense of unity within the children despite the contrast and variance between their cultures. The color and lines really bring out those principles in the creator's work. He was successfully able to convey his message with Photoshop and use all of the space he was granted.

  30. I think that the kids are at school and someone is giving a speech about something. I see color and space. I feel like the color is the Maine focus because it pops out. I think that photoshop edited all the faces.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think what's going on is a picture of many children Photoshoped from their own photo. What elements of art I see are hue and value. Hue helped create variety through the colors in the picture.

    ReplyDelete
  32. •I feel that it's a group of students, lined up to take a school photo.
•The only element of art I see here is Color.
•The Color element helps create the Variety principle, since every child here different in their own way.
•With Color and Variety, it helps these differentiate all these children as individuals, getting ready to be in a picture.
•I think the artist had only a character model for a white and black human, so they had to use assets for hair and clothing, plus rearranging the eyes, mouth and nose.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think that the photographer photoshoped all of these kids together and an element is Value.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 1. It looks like it's a group of students gathered up to watch either a performance or presentation of some kind.
    2. The photo contains the elements of color and balance.
    3. The use of color creates the principle of variety in all the different looking kids.
    4. The elements and principles tell a story by adding to each kid individually, while they all still do the same thing: focus.
    5. Photoshop most likely played a role in creating everything the image has to offer. From the effective use of color to the shape of the kids' faces, Photoshop use is evident.

  35. It seems as if a group of students are taking a school photo, however it seems as if some of the kids were cut and pasted in this picture. I think it might possibly be photo shopped. An element that I see is color, which gives the photo a lively feel, and makes all of the children have individuality. i think photo shop was used to make the colors pop and it looks as if the children were placed in the locations they are in.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The photo looks like a collection of children cut out of school photos. There is a variety of color in their shirts and a pattern of the heads. the disruption of the pattern marks each as different.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think the story of this picture is kids seeing themselves in the future. Elements of art that are in this picture are color and shape. Color helps create the principle known as variety because each child is different. Color and variety helps create the story because it expresses each children and who they are in this world. Photoshop played a role of not only editing it but convey the message through showing different. kids.

  38. It is showing children that go to school. The elements of art I see is color, shape, and texture. Color creates an element of design because if there was no color then this picture wouldn't be as interesting as it is. They help tell the story by making it pop out at the viewers face. Photoshop helped bring out the colors and cutting and pasting the heads on the bodies.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think this is Photo-shopped to look like a school or class photo and the pictures attempt to look diverse. The element of art this uses is color. Color helps create the diverse race in the photo. With color, it helps to create the story of school diversity. It is obvious that Photoshop played a huge role in this photo to create a consistent diverse community.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I feel that this photo could be trying to illustrate diversity, trying to display the fact that there is more than black and white in life.
In this photo I see a use of balance, as the picture appears to try and balance the races of the children among the photo.
Using balance, it creates a interesting amount of contrast between of the races.
And this use of contrast makes it clear how different we all are, yet how similar we are in actuality.
Photoshop helped place it all together, to add the balance and contrast of the children.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think that the picture is some sort of assembly or gathering of kids at school. I can see color and movement as the elements in the picture. The colors help differentiate each child and not really have an emphasis on anything which creates movement. These elements seem to tell a story about diversity or the variety of different races and how they could all be in the same room. I think photoshop had a huge role in the image because all the kids seem photoshoped and it makes them stand out and reveal the message a lot more clearly.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think the students are either at like a school assembly or just taking a picture. I can see variety and color in the picture. I think the colors contribute to the principle of unity; there are so many different colors that the variety seems purposeful. I think the spacing, colors, and unity help to show a theme about acceptance and harmony regardless of race, color, or any other factor. I'd say that it shows line because it is a continuous picture of the same sort of concepts; it also shows lots of color with the variety of people and their clothing. The pictures shows a sense of unity and repetition with the similar neutral expressions. This further emphasizes the sense of it being an organized class picture. The picture is actually very obviously photoshopped because the students look almost surreal as if they aren't real.

  79. I think this photograph may be of an assembly of students at an elementary school; they are listening intently to the speaker. I see the use of element of space and of color. I think the element of space helps to create the principle of unity in this photograph. The elements and principles shown in this photograph help to tell the lack of importance that skin color may have on us as people. 81. The image is an arrangement of student portraits cut and pasted to overlap each other, their blank, vaguely emotional stares into the camera being the only trait they have in common. Variety is the overriding principle of the image. The variety skin color, hair color, clothing, and every other character trait other than the look in their eyes allow for either an optimistic reading of diversity, or one more cynical, more Orwellian reading of the school system's brainwashing.

Photoshop is used by changing the way all of the children look.

128. So I think this is simply kids waiting for something to happen. Just waiting for an occurence that isn't the norm in their everyday life. I see obviously color but also some space. These two create emphasis on the children and help draw the eye right to the kids. Photoshop is what got the human heads onto the artistically created bodies.

  129. I think the children are taking their class picture. I see variety, color, and movement within the photograph. The color helps bring out a variety in the picture from all the different shades of colors in it and it moves your eyes across each line to look at the kids. I think the story is created through the elements by adding a characteristic to it, one that is specialized by the artist of the work. Photoshop was used to soften the faces around their heads and probably put on non-physical images of bodies.

  130. In this photo it seems to show us diversity with the different faces its seems to be children as well. Elements of art that I see in this photograph are shape and balance because shape has 2D quality on the children and the color has its own style in not in some pattern or solid color and balance because it is also 2D and also because the children are repeated throughout the picture creating a even distrubtion these art principles and elements helps the diversity and the story pop out more

  131. There are a bunch of children from different races that look like they are waiting for something because of the looks on their faces. There is a lot of color in this photograph, and there could be texture because the children are in detail. Color helps create rhythm throughout the photo. The rhythm helps tell the story because we see children repeating. I think this photo was made on photoshop with all the children being layers and being on top of each other.

  134. In this picture it looks like theirs a diverse group of people from every ethnic race, where they all come into unison. The elements that I see are unison, color and balance. Unison because they all come together to one group and balance because this specific picture has equal amount on the inside and around it. The element of shape helps create the principle of design of unity because the kids are repeatedly being in the picture and are coming into unison. The elements of art and principles of design help tell a story because you have color, which can differ them as characters, and balance and unity and value to this picture to see their purpose. Photoshop created this image to crop and scatte different ethnic races around the picture and the heads are bigger than their bodies.

The element of shape helps create the principle unity. This is done by the unity in the children. This helps the story because unity is showing the diversity of the students. I think Photoshop played a role in giving us a weird 2D picture but getting its message acrossed.

  137. The picture is depicting a diverse group of children in one place. Elements include color and shape. Color demonstrates balance because the different colors of the children and their clothing makes the eye bounce around the picture not focusing on one spot. Photoshop was used to place each individual child and used to retouch their faces.

  139. 1.) What I think is going on in this story is a diverse array of elementary students together demonstrating the co-existence between races that didn't exist just a few decades ago.
2.) The elements of art are color and texture with their shirts, and line as we go from looking from the front to the back.
3.) The element of color helps create the principle of unity as all the colors come together to make a diverse image instead of a jumbled mess of colors. All their different shirts colors and patterns lend to the overall story of the picture.
4.) The elements and principles help to tell a story of diversity and friendship between kids of different cultures. Children don't really discriminate, so they will all get along better than some adults may.
5.) Photoshop helped to layer the kids so they could all fit in the picture and that way we can see all the different colors together and overlapping.
